Okay, Scott Summers died. But nothing's permanent in the X-world, and the talk is that James Marsden will at least cameo in the new movie; he's even mentioned how much he'd like to come back. "It would be great to get Hugh and Famke and Patrick and Ian and Halle and everybody back together again to do another installment, our next chapter," Marsden claimed, shortly before X-Men: First Class first hit screens. Doesn't that sound like Cyclops isn't actually dead? Why It Could Be True: He could have been going anywhere, but Marsden was spotted at one time on a plane with Halle Berry. Further to that, this photo of Jennifer Lawrence holding an X-Men clapperboard surfaced online and generated some speculation. Check the clapperboard: third from the left, there's Cyclops. It's the poster for the first movie, but it's an interesting choice of seven mutants, considering that there were ten mutants in the original X-Men poster, and Cyclops is the only one not confirmed to return for this movie.
