The Avengers was a game-changer for cinema; it united actors across a handful of films and pulled them all in for a billion-dollar extravaganza. Now everyone wants a piece of that, from Batman Vs Superman to Days of Future Past, which assembles characters from the two very different times of X-World's history. But also in the pipeline for 20th Century Fox, is a Fantastic Four reboot. The quartet, last seen with Jessica Alba and Chris Evans among the ranks, are returning to our screens next year; the follow-up to this X-Men movie will follow in 2016. Is there any chance that Days of Future Past will set up a crossover between the two? Why It Could Be True: It would make sense for 20th Century Fox to line up a huge-money epic like The Avengers, and though they wouldn't be able to line up a crossover on the same scale - there'd only be two franchises to draw from - there is more than enough potential in the idea. This is assuming of course that they're not lining up a third movie in the mean time...
