Hugh Jackman's been playing Wolverine for fourteen years, through seven films: yes, that cameo really counts. It's hard to believe that X-Men was the film to launch Jackman, but it's even harder to believe that he's 45 years old now. It would certainly be one way to kick X-Men into life; it would focus more on McAvoy and Fassbender, and it would make huge news: why not kill off the main character?
