8 Films Where Not Giving A F**k Improved Everything
5. Machete Kills
2010's Machete was a brilliant underrated film. In fact, you probably only saw it on DVD or TV after reading about how great it was. Robert Rodriguez created a brilliant throwback to '70s and '80s B-Action films, which felt very of the time, even though it was made 20 to 30 years later, and he also revived a few careers while he was at it. So it was only logical that a sequel would be made, which ended up being 2013's Machete Kills. Contrary to what you might have heard from critics, the sequel bests the original in every way, getting rid of any of the boring melodrama that slowed down the original. It's not that Rodriguez stopped caring about the films, he just stopped caring about making them realistic or even vaguely real-world. In this sequel, we get Mel Gibson giving his best scene-chewing performance in years, Antonio Banderas and Lady Gaga delivering badass deaths by the bucket load, and a genuinely hilarious and awesome performance from Charlie Sheen (aka Carlos Estevez) as the President of the United States of America. Yes. Any film that features a gun that turns people inside out as a main weapon is great in my books. Oh, and there's a brilliant cameo from Bruce Campbell. And if he can't make a film awesome, then what chance has anyone else got?

I also do stand-up comedy sometimes... I'm told I'm marginally funny.
