If you were wondering how long it must have taken for Ben Affleck to squeeze into the armoured Batsuit which Warner Bros. have taken everywhere from San Diego to New York this year, then you'll probably be disappointed to learn that there isn't going to be a featurette on the eventual Blu-ray dedicated to the story behind that; Batman's armour is 100% CGI! However, having to wear the same "visual effects pyjamas" that James Spader recently wore for Ultron in The Avengers sequel and Michael Shannon donned when Zod suited up for Man of Steel's final batte is an experience that Affleck described as, "the most humiliating, ridiculous thing in the world." Buy hey, it's probably less embarrassing than that Daredevil costume, right? "You can move freely, and they put on digitally," he continued. "It's a little bit more humiliating to wear, but it's easier for the digital effects guys. You can see who the priority is," he laughed. The armoured Batsuit being a completely digital creation definitely comes as a surprise, but don't worry about Batman v Superman drawing the same criticisms as Man of Steel's final battle (which some compared to a video game) as Deborah Snyder emphasised just how much CGI has advanced since that movie was released. "We were able to do so much more with the digital doubles in Batman v Superman than we could do before, and that wasn't that long ago." However, while The Dark Knight Returns inspired Batsuit may be CGI, the magazine confirms that every other superhero costume in the movie will indeed be worn by the actors!
