8 MCU Characters Who Could Be In The Thunderbolts Movie
7. Kingpin
Another Marvel villain almost guaranteed to be in the upcoming Thunderbolts movie project is businessman Wilson Fisk, otherwise known as the Kingpin.
In Thunderbolts comics such as the recent King in Black tie-in issues, Kingpin is the leader of the Thunderbolts – although he doesn’t get involved in any of the fighting, choosing instead to make the villains fight on his behalf. Ruling the underground crime world of New York City, Kingpin is no stranger to the B-list villains of the Marvel world, making him a strong candidate to lead the MCU iteration of Thunderbolts.
In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, we’ve recently had the return of Kingpin with actor Vincent D’Onofrio reprising the role from the Netflix's Daredevil. As detailed in the Hawkeye series, it transpired that Kingpin had ordered Yelena Belova to assassinate Clint Barton. This comes after Clint’s involvement with Kingpin’s criminal activities during his time as Ronin.
It would make perfect sense for Kingpin to be the mastermind behind Thunderbolts in the MCU and could lead to a confrontation between Fisk and the likes of Daredevil on the big screen.
