3. The Alien Xenomorphs Have Fought Pretty Much… Everybody
The weirdest thing about Ridley Scott’s Alien creatures is that, since they’re born of the Alien Queen, and since Disney now owns Fox, then the Xenomorphs are technically Disney princesses. The second weirdest thing about them is that they’ve gone up against every superpowered hero you can name.
Over the years, the Alien crossover comics have pitted the Xenomorphs against everyone from Batman (thus giving us the Punisher-Archie link from before) to Superman, Green Lantern, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Judge Dredd, and even the Terminator. If you also count the Predator, then the Xenomorph crossovers might just be the single largest, shared universe nexus you’ve never heard about.
And that’s not even counting all the other insane connections courtesy of some of the Xenomorph-battling heroes, like the Terminator going against RoboCop in a 1992 comic, Batman teaming up with Hellboy in 1999, or Superman actually battling Skeletor.
