8 Moments We Need To See In MCU Phase 4

5. A Tease Of The Fox Heroes

Just because Marvel Studios now has the X-Men and the Fantastic Four at their disposal thanks to Disney’s purchase of 21st Century Fox for $70 billion, doesn’t mean that those characters should be thrown straight into the Marvel Cinematic Universe mix.

That said, it would be nice to get a tease of Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters or Marvel’s First Family towards the end of Phase 4.

All it would take is a glimpse of an X-Men outfit or the FF’s logo, and that would be enough for fans right now. There’s plenty of time to introduce these characters into the fold in a way that’s meaningful, that’s well thought-out, and that’s impactful, so it would be stupid to try and shoehorn them into Phase 4 just for the sake of it.

Logical thinking would suggest Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness as the perfect place to drop in any such tease, as the notion of the multiverse is likely the most sensible way to incorporate the X-Men and Fantastic Four into the MCU. A simple, brief glance into an alternative world from the Sorcerer Supreme would suffice right now, before then properly introducing these characters in Phase 5 or even later.
