2. Stitch (Lilo & Stitch 2: Stich Has A Glitch)
Stitch is one of the most loveable, fluffy, characters in Disney history. Our friendly neighbourhood Experiment 626 has had many adventures across multiple platforms since his initial venture into film in 2002. He stole our hearts in the cinema, on our TVs and in our video games.
However, what a lot of people don't know is that Stitch dies. It's a killer of a scene too. In the direct-to-video sequel "Lilo & Stitch 2: Stitch Has a Glitch", Stitch suffers from nightmares of turning into the bad guy he once was. Through this he begins to have moments of insanity which reverts him back to his destructive whirlwind personality, and when he realises this he attempts to leave Earth. In doing so he has another 'glitch', which results in him crashing his ship into the Hawaiian mountains.
Lilo watches as her best friend dies. She cries over his body. She tells him that he is her 'Ohana'. Just imagining it is pushing me to welling up. Thankfully his death is short lived, as he is miraculously revived by the power of love and they go on to dance at a competition. Everyone lives happily ever after... you know, after they kicked us where it hurts.
