4. Aquagirl Dies In Poisoned Water
Aquagirl is a character that DC has struggled to find a use for over the years, often pushing her into the background as Aqualad's love interest during the Silver Age.
In the 1980s, Tula found her calling as a member of the Teen Titans, but DC killed her off shortly afterwards as the darkness of Crisis on Infinite Earths set in.
Her demise was embarrassing by Atlantean standards, the cause of death being drowning. Admittedly this happened in a pool of water that had been poisoned by the villain Chemo, but it was hardly a glorious end for the marine heroine.
James Wan's Aquaman will likely be dark enough for a death like this to happen, but don't expect to see it play out since Tula doesn't appear to be in the film, plus Crisis on Infinite Earths is an event the DC movie series seems to be shying away from.
