8 Superheroes That Deserve A Live Action Adaptation
6. Vixen
Type of Adaptation: Arrowverse TV Series This entry is a bit of a cheat since Warner Bros have just premiered an animated version of the African hero set in the same universe as WBs Arrow and The Flash. But lets humour ourselves for a moment with the prospect of a live action version. Vixen has normally been a supporting character of DC comics and has appeared in Justice League, the Suicide Squad and the aforementioned Arrowverse. Originally developed as DC Comics first female African character Vixen has the power to tap the abilities of any animal on the planet both living and extinct. This means she can be as fast as a cheetah, as strong as a polar bear or even have the sent of a skunk (although I dont know how this would be useful). A TV show in the Arrowverse could allow for these powers to be fully explored on a weekly basis. There is literally a never ending array of powers that Vixen can have. The reason for Vixens entry on this list is that there is really nothing else like her on TV or in Film at the moment. Black superheroes and female superheroes have always been under represented in print form and on screen so why not readdress the balance with an awesome hero with a crazy set of powers. Lets hope that the animated series is a huge hit and convinces Warner Bros to develop a full live action series.
