8 Unintentionally Hilarious Horror Movie Endings
1. Gabriel Is Madison - "Malignant"
The latest addition to James Wan's filmography, and potentially his strangest and most laughable idea yet, "Malignant" caught many audience members off guard with its side-splitting ending.
Following the life of a pregnant Madison, a masked killer breaks into her home and murders her abusive husband, Derek, while she appears to dream of the exact same scenario unfolding. Throughout the film, it becomes clear that Madison seems to have a strange connection with the crimes that are unfolding around her. Whether it be that she has dreamt of the crime, or has seen herself at the exact location of the crime as it occurs, there is undoubtedly an element of the supernatural shrouding Madison's experiences.
It is not until the final act of the movie where this link between Madison and the murders around her becomes clear. In an unexpected and laughable turn of events, it is revealed that the imaginary friend that Madison was convinced she had as a child is actually not so imaginary, and is in fact living on the back of her head as a parasitic conjoined twin.
The premise is as wild as it sounds, and the way in which this plot point is revealed is almost as comedic as the concept itself. Go and give it a watch, see if you think it's whacky too!
