8 Upcoming 2016 Movies Already Spoiled By Their Trailers

3. The Ending - X-Men: Apocalypse (Trailer 1)

When an unexpected, full-length trailer for X-Men: Apocalypse landed on the internet just a few days ago, the reactions to the new footage were noticeably mixed. That stemmed from the perceived quality of the footage, but what people should probably be more annoyed about is the fact that said trailer appears to contain a fully-fledged spoiler for the ending of the entire film - at least, if Magneto's outfit (and his dialogue cue) is a hint at the shape of things to come. Check out the candid moment at the start of the trailer, then, which has Magneto repeating a line from the original X-Men film - €œDoesn€™t it ever wake you up in the middle of the night... the feeling that some day they€™ll come for you and your children?" - whilst donning a costume that is very reminiscent of the one Ian McKellen wore in the first X-Men flick. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PfBVIHgQbYk In this shot, Magneto looks completely different to how he looks in the rest of the trailer, which heavily suggests that this is a shot from the end of the film. "But he's talking to Charles," you say, "and Charles has hair!" That's true, but this seems to be a result of deceitful editing; two different scenes spliced together to make them appear linked. Basically, then, this shot seems to tell us that in this version of the time-line, Magneto will survive and be off to lead his Brotherhood. It's not a huge spoiler, per se, but it's still more information than we needed.
