7. Wonder Woman
Wonder Woman isn't due for release until June 2017, but it already has a mountain to climb. After Batman v Superman and Suicide Squad both failed to fully click with audiences, all eyes turned to Wonder Woman to triumph, and save the day! But there's a good chance that it might not.
For starters, it's been in development since before Warner Bros began course-correcting after the reaction to the former two comic-book misfires, so it could still carry some of the problems that those films shared - namely, sloppy editing, an overstuffed plot and a 'let's catch up with Marvel!' mentality.
Wonder Woman also lost its director early on in the game, after Michelle MacLaren, who'd been working on the project for a good few months, left, leaving replacement Patty Jenkins to clean up any mess and keep the film on track. From the get-go, Wonder Woman has been troubled, and that's never a good place to start a huge blockbuster.
And to top it all off, a rather interesting rumour broke earlier this summer in the form of a rant from a supposed unnamed former Warner Bros employee, who claimed that Wonder Woman is "a mess."
Though it's to be taken with a grain of salt, you only have to look to BvS and Suicide Squad - which both reeked of a 'too many cooks in the kitchen' type of mess - as well as Wonder Woman's directorial problems, for those seeds of doubt to begin to grow...
