6. Amityville: The Awakening
The Reshoots: Despite being filmed in mid-2014, the latest Amityville underwent reshoots as recently as February of this year. The movie has had a notoriously rocky development, and what's especially bizarre about this particular reshoot is that the film was test-screened way back in late 2014, at which point it was deemed that the ending needed to be reshot.
For some reason, it took almost 18 months for those reshoots to materialise, and yet the movie won't be hitting cinemas until next January.
Will It Be Any Good?: Despite a good cast (including Jennifer Jason Leigh and Thomas Mann), almost certainly not. It sounds like a total disaster, is getting dumped in January, and most of all, it just sounds like the studio doesn't really care about it.
