8 Ways The New Batman V Superman Trailer Proves It Will Be 2016's Best Comic Book Movie

3. Epic Action

Zack Snyder is a very divisive filmmaker. However, if there's one area he always delivers in, it's action, and that definitely seems to be the case in the latest trailer for Batman V Superman. Like Man Of Steel, there are admittedly moments which look like video game cutscenes, but there's hopefully enough time for those to be polished up by next March. Effects aside though, and the action on display here looks simply unbeatable. It's been my concern for a while that the trailers for Batman V Superman will end up spoiling too much of the fight between the two titular heroes, but what is show here is a great tease. Which other 2016 comic book movie is going to be able to replicate a moment like Batman trying to shoot Superman out of the sky while piloting the Batwing?! That battle aside though, and seeing The Trinity square off with Doomsday has all the makings of a fight for the ages, especially if we see other heroes get involved (seeing as Aquaman has his own action figure and is the only other hero to be officially unveiled, him joining in seems like a given). Whatever other faults it may end up having, Batman V Superman is going to rule in terms of action next year.
