1. Jason Statham
Sure, this seems like an obvious choice, but let's get this ball rolling. Statham already does dumb action, spitting out a few corny franchises like the Crank films and The Transporter "trilogy," but Statham needs to take his martial arts to another level. He can carry a film with his swagger and confidence, but none of his stand alone pictures have had the explosions and grand spectacle like those 80s and 90s flicks. Put a budget behind Statham and watch him work. Plus, with his connections in the Expendables community, he could keep these old timers around in cameos. Think about it, Stallone popping up in a Cobra remake starring Statham. I'd pay to see that one.
