For whatever reason, it just seems obvious that Jason Segel might toke up a little before his scenes. Not that he's necessarily a stoner (or even plays stoners that frequently), but he just has that kind of aura about him. He always looks physically relaxed but with a glimmer of paranoia in his eyes, like he just did a bong rip and hopes the boom operator isn't going to rat him out to the director. Paul Rudd, on the other hand, always seems like he would be the life of the party after a six-pack of Bartles & Jaymes. Put a blunt in his hand, and Rudd would probably burst through another dimension of entertainment. ...Or he would just make I Love You, Man. Which is pretty close to the same thing, actually. Thanks to a promotional interview that Segel and Rudd did where they were obviously stoned out of their minds, giggling like kids and acting out "bits" that only someone on pot would think to do, rumors circulated that both guys liked to get just a little high during their mutual downtime on the set.
