9 Actors Who Were Cut Out Of Movies For Ridiculous Reasons
6. Richard Gere Was Booted Off The Lords Of Flatbush For Spilling Mustard On Sly Stallone
Richard Gere and Sylvester Stallone were cast opposite each other in the 1974 drama The Lords of Flatbush, but the former just didn't cut the mustard.
And spilling a great dollop of it on his co-star ended up being his downfall.
During a lunch break while filming, Gere is said to have slipped into the passenger seat of Stallone's pristine car to eat a bloated sandwich, which ended up spewing the yellow condiment on Rocky's lap.
The then-unknown actors came to blows over the incident, after which Sly bounded over to the director and demanded he choose between the pair.
Stallone was picked and the pair still dislike each other today, if you believe everything you read in the gutter press.
