3. Looney Tunes: Back in Action (Warner Bros. Feature Animation)

Following the epic financial failures of both The Iron Giant and Osmosis Jones, Warner Bros. Feature Animation had to let some of their staff go, and began gearing themselves towards a classic, recognised brand with the live-action/animation hybrid Looney Tunes: Back in Action. Despite the popularity of the characters therein, the film received mixed notices from critics and made only $68 million against a sky-high $80 million budget. As a result of this, the Looney Tunes shorts that were being worked on were immediately scrapped, and the feature animation unit of Warner Bros. was disbanded.
