Hellsing Ultimate was never a show to shy away from a little blood, and it really got into the swing of things in episode 2. This instalment introduced the Valentine Brothers, who lead an assault on the Hellsing mansion that wipes out most of the staff.

Their ultimate target is everyone's favourite vamp Alucard of course, but since he’s an immortal with demonic powers he just calmly waits for them to arrive. Luke Valentine heads to face him alone and does quite well fighting one on one; until the vampire grows bored and unleashes his true magic.

When Luke sees Alucard turn into a demonic dog thing with hundreds of eyes, he understandably has second thoughts and tries to flee. His legs are bitten off, and Alucard taunts him a little before devouring him alive. Like the rest of Hellsing, it’s over the top and campy, but it’s also vaguely unsettling watching the smug mercenary get torn to bite sized chunks.
