9 Outrageous Ways Famous Movie Characters Came Back From The Dead

7. Whistler Survives A Bullet To The Head €“ Blade II

Kris Kristofferson lent his crusty manliness to all three Blade movies, as Wesley Snipes€™ sage mentor Whistler. His fate looked pretty sealed by the end of the first movie however. He Was Dead...: Whistler is ambushed by a gang of vampires in his hideout, and despite putting up a good fight he€™s quickly overwhelmed. He gets beaten almost to death, fed on by vamps and left to die. Blade finds him and honours his last wish, giving him a gun so he can finish himself. Blade then walks away as the gunshot rings out behind him.
...But He Got Better: The vampires must have really had a bone to pick with Whistler, as Blade II reveals they retrieved his body and brought him back as a vampire. They kept him alive to feed on and torture, until Blade rescues him at the start of the movie. He gives Whistler a cure for his vampirism, and after a good night€™s sleep he€™s back to normal. Not terribly plausible, but it could be argued that since Whistler€™s death wasn€™t seen on camera, that maybe he failed to kill himself. Unlikely, but at least it allowed Kristofferson to come back. Whistler subsequently died for good in Blade: Trinity though.

Handsome. Charismatic. Intelligent. Noble. Witty. I'm none of these things, but I'm a half decent writer, I guess.
