6. Letty Survives Being Shot And Buried Fast & Furious 6
The Fast & Furious franchise needs no introduction, with the high octane racing series about to release its seventh instalment. Michelle Rodriguez has appeared in four of the movies as Vin Diesels love interest Letty. But 2009s Fast & Furious seemed to be Lettys final chapter. She Was Dead...: Letty gets on the wrong side of some bad dudes, who chase her down and cause her car to crash. She crawls out of the wreckage badly hurt, and is then shot and killed by a henchman. She has a funeral and everyone is very sad. ...But She Got Better: But just like Blade II: If it wasn't shown on camera, then it didnt happen. It turns out she wasnt shot after she crawled out of her car. The bad guy instead shot the tank of the car, which caused an explosion that sent her flying into a ditch. This gave her plot convenient amnesia, and she was later recruited by the villain of Part 6 to be a part of his team. Her memories slowly come back as Vin Diesel growls romantically at her, and she switches back to the good side. Logically this twist has plenty of plot holes (whose body did they bury?) but The Fast & Furious movies have always had a detached relationship with realism.
