9 Sci-Fi Movie Villains Who Were Actually RIGHT

5. Dennis Nedry - Jurassic Park

Dennis Nedry is the sort of character that no one really wants to root for.

He's a slob, and he always looks damp and sticky, and he's exactly the sort of man we all hope that we never end up sitting across from.

That said, none of the other InGen employees are shy about admitting that Nedry basically built and ran Jurassic Park's security system singlehandedly, and it's obvious from the way everything goes to hell in a handbasket after he leaves that the park is pretty dependent on the man being at his computer.

With all that considered, and the fact that his boss is a man who loudly and proudly exclaims at regular intervals that he's "spared no expense!", it seems odd that Nedry's request for a raise has fallen on deaf ears.

After all, without Nedry's work on the park's security systems, it's not a huge jump to imagine that there would have already been a number of dinosaur related deaths and the work done at Jurassic Park would have come to a premature end.

Nedry isn't a good guy, but he was seriously undervalued, and if Hammond really had spared no expense, maybe no-one would have died.
