2. Christina Applegate Only Has A Cameo

One of the highlights of the first film was Christina Applegate as domineering PTA head Gwendolyn James, who nevertheless learned her lesson by movie's end and seemed to come to an uneasy truce with the three bad moms.

Though Applegate was announced to be returning for the sequel, her part is sadly confined to a cameo, appearing for less than 60 seconds during a Christmas carolling sequence.

Applegate doesn't get to do much funny or develop her character in any way at all, making this a most perfunctory cameo that will no doubt leave fans of the first film pretty underwhelmed.

That's not to say her character needed to have a huge part in the sequel what with its expanded cast, but something a little more than this, surely? C'mon, at least reference the end of the first movie...
