Alien: Covenant - 10 Big Questions It Needs To Answer

6. Did Anyone Follow The Prometheus Crew?

Elizabeth Shaw left a final message in the ship€™s log at the end of Prometheus. She urged anyone who might ever hear to the recording not to bother following in her footsteps, and to avoid the €˜death€™ that thrives on this moon at all costs. But did her warning fall on deaf ears? Did mankind ever return to that moon? Alien: Covenant could furnish fans with an answer. At the moment, it feels likely that cinema-goers haven't seen the last of the grey moon LV-233. After all, the proto-Xenomorph from the final shot of Prometheus was last seen at this locale. That creature's story clearly hasn€™t finished yet, because it's already known that the Xenomorphs end up on a different moon by the name of LV-426 (thanks to James Cameron's Aliens). Perhaps, then, Ridley Scott will return to LV-233 in Alien: Covenant and explain what happened next.
