5. Is This The Engineers City? What Happened To Them?

This is another really cool and interesting moment from the trailer, as vast swathes of corpses are lain out in front of a huge building.

It's a massive scene, and not just because of the large scale of destruction and death. This appears to be the Engineers' city, or what remains of it at least, and with that can we assume that we're seeing the last of the Engineers here, every single one of them now dead?

If that is indeed what we're seeing, then just what happened to them? Were they all wiped out by the Xenomorph or Neomorphs? Or does David have something to do with this?
