7. The Xenomorph's Birth

There are plenty of things to be said about the continually inconsistent nature of the xenomorph's gestation period and life cycle, but much worse than this was the actual birth sequence of the xenomorph.

Once it hatches from Oram's chest, killing him (of course), it's revealed to be almost an exact miniature of a xenomorph, compared to its more crude appearance in earlier Alien films.

That's not all, though: as David looks on, the xeno then weirdly raises its arms in the air, in what's surely the goofiest alien birthing scene in the history of the franchise.
