Alien Covenant Sequel: 10 Things It Must Do

So Covenant positions David as the architect of the Xenomorph species, a mechanical Dr Frankenstein who berths a menagerie of horrors in his makeshift lab.

But where do Alien Queens fit into this picture?

Film fans were first introduced to the mother of all acid-blooded nasties in 1986’s Aliens but the events of Covenant beg the question of where they originated from.

It seems likely that Xenomorphs will take control of their own lifecycle once David lets them loose on LV-223 and begin breeding in the wild.

Is the Queen simply a product of evolution, or does our sinister synthetic create them from scratch somewhere between Covenant and Alien?

One thing is for sure, Covenant’s sequel would really up the ante if it marked the return of the Xenomorph Queen to the big screen.
