All The Warner Bros. Films Coming To HBO Max In 2021

The much anticipated sequel to both Godzilla: King of the Monsters and Kong: Skull Island, Godzilla vs. Kong will drop in late May and will see the two titans of monster cinema face off against each other in spectacular CGI fashion.

Given the relatively good reception of both Godzilla films and the recent Kong film, Godzilla vs. Kong will hopefully be more of what fans love: big, smashy fun full of toppled buildings and lizard laser beams.

The film was originally scheduled to release in November of this year, but was pushed back due to coronavirus concerns.

On the human side, the film is set to star Alexander Skarsgard and Millie Bobby Brown, who will apparently end up choosing to side with one of the gigantic monsters.

No word on whether any other Kaiju will make an appearance, but it would follow the trend of the previous Godzilla films. The director, Adam Wingward, has even stated that the film would be a massive monster brawl, hinting at more than just Kong and Godzilla.

Whoever shows up, fans can at least expect a good few bouts between Kong and Godzilla themselves, hopefully in a place where they won't incur too much paperwork.
