Although there are some big stars in this movie alongside Paul Rudd - Michael Douglas, for example - he is the outright star of it. Usually, when Paul Rudd is in a movie, he is either a supporting actor or a co-star - not a lead - and it is still open to debate whether or not he will be able to pull off this role (especially given that it's not a comedy role). In Anchorman, for instance, he was undoubtedly second bill to Will Ferrell's Ron Burgundy while in movies like This Is 40 he had an equally-billed co-star in Leslie Mann. As the titular con-man-turned-hero of this movie, he will be expected to carry it. It remains to be seen if he'll be able to do that.
