He immediately began demanding copious changes to their roster and methodology and gained a reputation for being a heartless official concerned chiefly with curbing the freedoms of superpowers and later attempted to deport all extraterrestrial life from Earth, a storyline that could easily be tapped for an Earth-set Guardians Of The Galaxy movie or the inevitable crossover with the rest of the MCU if the film's a success. Oh, and he once kicked Henry Pym out of the Avengers. So there's that. Why Stoll Could Play Him: This looks like one of the more probable outcomes. Who can't see Corey Stoll as a bureaucrat in a suit with a perpetual scowl? Gyrich could exist on the edges of frames as a post-SHIELD government liaison to new superpowered individuals who attempts to curb the ambitions of would-be heroes with predictably funny results.
