5. Darren's Sacrificial Death
After getting his ass kicked by Cassie, M.O.D.O.K. aka Darren has a change of heart, deciding that he no longer wants to be a dick and opting to help the heroes repel Kang.
As Hank's ant army are unable to penetrate Kang's protective shield, Darren flies in to make the save, shouting, "My name is Darren and I am not a dick!" before triggering an explosion which shatters the forcefield.
The explosion ends up mortally wounding him, though, and in his final moments he gets an hilariously overwrought dying monologue, referring to Scott as his "brother" and noting that he at least got to die an Avenger.
Scott and the others don't have the heart to try and correct Darren, so simply let him die a hero's death in what's truly one of the strangest redemption stories in the history of superhero cinema.
