Aquaman: 10 Major New Details We Just Learned
10. Two-Thirds Of It Is Underwater
One of the ways in which Aquaman is going to be different to any comic book movie we've seen before is its setting, with at least some of the movie having to take place underwater simply on account of who the main character is.
Now we know just how much, with producer Peter Safran revealing that "two-thirds" of it is underwater, which is quite an impressive feat when the easy route would've been to stick Arthur Curry on land for large portions of the movie.
Speaking to IGN, Safran said: "Five years ago you could not have made this movie. I think it would have been cost prohibitive, and I also am not sure you could have even done it with all the money in the world, up to the level of creative perfection that you can today."
