9. Man Crushed By A Building Is Absolutely Fine

During the Sicily sequence, Mera and Aquaman are overrun by Manta and his Orm-backed forces - the best of the best sent by the King to help kill his brother, including Captain Murk. They run amok on the Italian island, blowing everything up and generally making a mess, while putting everyone in the vicinity in mortal peril, which means the heroes have to divert their attention to saving normal people while avoiding capture or death themselves.

At one point, a building collapses and a large boulder ends up trapping a local man, whose family look on in despair at him crushed beneath it. Aquaman swoops in to save the day, lifting the heavy rubble off the man, who must have suffered grave injuries, judging by how much Arthur struggles to lift the rock and how much pain he's clearly in.

Only, when the boulder is lifted off him, he simply gets up and runs away with his family, completely unharmed. Because apparently his legs were made of Teflon all along.
