7. Mera's Voice On The Surface

After Arthur and Mera realise that they must end the war in a one-on-one battle between Orm and Aquaman to determine who the rightful king is, they all head to the surface to stage the fight on top of a huge vessel with massive terrifying spiky rotor-blades because everything in this movie is METAL AF.

They fight and eventually Arthur is victorious, taking his place as rightful king of Atlantis while Orm is arrested after reuniting with his mother. It's all very Martha! and includes a horribly cringe-worthy moment where Arthur basically says "I will call you in prison" to his brother, because they can now be friends or something.

The silliest thing about the whole scene is that Mera somehow has her underwater voice while standing on top of the ship. Throughout the film, whenever anyone is underwater, they talk as if they're in a particularly cavernous bathroom with amazing acoustic. It makes precisely no sense that she'd be using the same voice above the surface, as if she's somehow got a built-in megaphone in her throat.
