Arnold Schwarzenegger: Every Movie Ranked From Worst To Best

25. The 6th Day (2000)

The 6th Day sees Arnold Schwarzenegger 'pulling a Van Damme' and playing two characters in the same movie, but once the novelty wears off the sci-fi actioner descends into formulaic territory, despite an interesting central concept. What had the potential to be an inventive thriller full of twists and turns instead ends up as a standard Arnie vehicle. The idea of the ethical and moral questions surrounding human cloning have the makings of a great big-budget genre movie, but despite the presence of these ideas The 6th Day fails to craft a decent story around them. While the movie does feature some great production design and a couple of solid action sequences, it ultimately fails to make the most of its premise.

I don't do social media, so like or follow me in person but please maintain a safe distance or the authorities will be notified. Don't snap me though, I'll probably break. I was once labelled a misogynist on this very site in a twenty paragraph-long rant for daring to speak ill of the Twilight franchise. I stand by what I said, it's crap.
