Arnold Schwarzenegger: Every Movie Ranked From Worst To Best

22. Jingle All The Way (1996)

Now a well-established staple of the festive TV schedule, Jingle All the Way is also something of a cult favorite amongst Arnold Schwarzenegger fans. However, what begins as a light satire of the commercialization of Christmas soon descends into over-sentimental schmaltz by the third act. That being said, the Arnie does deliver his most committed comic performance yet, throwing himself into a series of unlikely slapstick situations, gifting us several classic one-liners in the process including the immortal 'Put the cookie down. Now!'. Sadly, the rest of the movie isn't as entertaining as Arnie's performance, not to mention the questionable plot mechanism of a father essentially trying to buy his son's love for Christmas.

I don't do social media, so like or follow me in person but please maintain a safe distance or the authorities will be notified. Don't snap me though, I'll probably break. I was once labelled a misogynist on this very site in a twenty paragraph-long rant for daring to speak ill of the Twilight franchise. I stand by what I said, it's crap.
