Arnold Schwarzenegger: Every Movie Ranked From Worst To Best
18. Escape Plan (2013)
While it may have come 20 years too late, Escape Plan does boast the novelty factor of seeing Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger share top billing for the first time, outside of their brief interactions in The Expendables franchise. Despite playing second fiddle to his old Planet Hollywood cohort, Arnie easily steals the movie with his enthusiastic supporting turn. While the plot is admittedly ridiculous (prison escape expert locked in inescapable prison... that he must escape), the chemistry between the Italian Stallion and the Austrian Oak is consistently entertaining, with both action icons playing off their baggage when it comes to trading both quips and punches. Schwarzenegger in particular is clearly having a ball, with his demented rant in German one of the movie's highlights.
I don't do social media, so like or follow me in person but please maintain a safe distance or the authorities will be notified. Don't snap me though, I'll probably break. I was once labelled a misogynist on this very site in a twenty paragraph-long rant for daring to speak ill of the Twilight franchise. I stand by what I said, it's crap.
