Arnold Schwarzenegger: Every Movie Ranked From Worst To Best

11. Terminator 3: Rise Of The Machines (2003)

While Terminator 3 obviously can't hold a candle to James Cameron's superior two efforts in the franchise, it still remains an entertaining sci-fi action blockbuster, even if it couldn't reach the lofty expectations that came with 12 years of anticipation. While the story and characters sometimes let the movie down, it gets by on some impressive stuntwork and CGI effects. Schwarzenegger seamlessly slips back into his signature role, and while some of the T-800's intended humor falls a little flat, the Austrian Oak by no means embarrasses himself. While Kristanna Loken's TX makes for a one-dimensional and disappointing villain and Nick Stahl's John Connor is a little wooden at times, Rise of the Machines features a gut-punch of an ending markedly different to the standard finales of most studio blockbusters. And hey, its a lot better than Terminator Salvation.

I don't do social media, so like or follow me in person but please maintain a safe distance or the authorities will be notified. Don't snap me though, I'll probably break. I was once labelled a misogynist on this very site in a twenty paragraph-long rant for daring to speak ill of the Twilight franchise. I stand by what I said, it's crap.
