11. Rescue Will Appear

The Rumour

A year or so ago, Gwyneth Paltrow released an image on her Instagram that showed her in a mo-cap suit, suggesting to all fans with any sort of knowledge of the comics that she might be about to appear as Rescue. In the comics, Potts suits up in a Stark armour and is a legitimate hero under that title.

Further to that same rumour, leaked toy artwork has appeared more recently seemingly confirming that Rescue is set to appear. So at some point, Pepper will be fighting alongside her husband to be in the battle against Thanos.

Given that Paltrow returned to the franchise only fairly recently, you'd have to suspect that she was given some sort of incentive to do so in terms of what her character will actually be doing. Having her step up to being an active hero - to follow up her brief armoured sequence in Iron Man 3 - would certainly fit that bill and it would make Pepper a far more interesting prospect.
