10. Thanos Has A Sword

The Rumour

Despite the fact that he can literally pull actual moons out of the sky and dump them on his enemies, Thanos isn't coming to the fight in Avengers 4 empty-handed.

According to some leaked artwork of the Mad Titan and a more specific leak (below), it seems he's got himself a new heavy-duty double-bladed sword. Could this be a stand-in for the broken Gauntlet?

Thanos having a weapon makes sense if the Gauntlet is indeed broken - or if it's going to end up being compromised in another way. And there is precedent in the comics, thanks to the Infinity Sword, which Thanos didn't actually wield, but which was revealed to be supremely powerful along with the Gauntlet.

Whether it turns out that this sword is the very same remains to be seen (let's hope it's not), but it's no bad thing giving him another thing to make him even more bad-ass.
