1. Hero Shot Redux
Marvel always has a strong presence in San Diegos annual Comic-Con celebration of all things pop culture. In 2013, Tom Hiddlestons appearance in full Loki garb sent the Hall H crowd into a frenzy, and it was that same year that the name of the much-anticipated Avengers sequel was announced. Comic-Con 2014 saw every major cast name come together for a Q&A and also included a full reveal of the poster above, which had been teased out piece by piece to highlight each member of the roster. What no one realised at the time was that Joss Whedon planned on bringing the poster to life in the grand finale. The Avengers featured many crowd-pleasing moments and perhaps none so triumphant as the team forming a circle and preparing to fight together for the first time as the camera spins around them in New York. Well, Whedon goes one better this time, reprising the 360-degree tracking shot but using it this time to feature Avengers old and new squaring off against Ultrons robot army. While nothing can recapture the moment of seeing a team of superheroes unite for the first time in preparation for a genre-busting spectacle, this scene in Age Of Ultron is an astonishing technical feat and the closest thing to a comic book free-for-all yet seen on film. Whatever the Russo brothers have up their sleeves for the Infinity Wars, it will have to be something very special to top this moment. What were your favourite moments from Avengers: Age Of Ultron? Give em a shout out below.

I watch movies and I watch sport. I also watch movies about sport, and if there were a sport about movies I'd watch that too. The internet was the closest thing I could find.
