Avengers: Endgame Figure Fully Reveals Thanos' New Weapon

In one of the more unusual news reveals in relation to Avengers: Endgame, Sideshow's figurine reveal for Thanos has leaked the weapon the villain will be using in Marvel's climactic film.

While a sword reveal generally wouldn't reveal much to us, the appearance of it suggests a lot about what we can expect from Thanos in the film. Most notably, the blade has a striking resemblance to weapons we associate with Gamora; in both the dual blade Thanos gives child Gamora in Infinity War, and the weapon adult Gamora uses in the 2018 Infinity War comic itself.

Although the dual blade may have more to do with the 'balancing' nature of the former inhabitant of Titan, there's a very good chance this design also references Thanos' guilt over killing Gamora. This implies that same guilt may feature in the film itself, which could prove to be pretty important in terms of the overall storyline.

All theories aside, it's pretty interesting to see how Thanos will appear in Endgame prior to its release - especially because of how badass he appears, even in figurine form.
