Despite only joining the MCU last month, Captain Marvel has up to 6 more movies ahead of her, with a 7 movie deal being signed by Brie Larson.
Captain Marvel came in with a bang in her 90’s nostalgia driven solo flick, and she’ll continue to show her power in Avengers: Endgame when she meets the rest of the team. How that happens, we don’t yet know. We’ll have to wait and see.
Upcoming projects:
Unicorn Store: Despite being screened in 2017 at the Toronto Film Festival, Brie Larson's directorial debut, Unicorn Store, only released officially on April 5th. This marks the first of potentially many films directed by Larson. It stars Brie herself alongside Samuel L Jackson (Nick Fury).
Just Mercy: Larson plays Eva Ansley in the upcoming biographical drama written and directed by Destin Daniel Cretton. Starring Michael B Jordon and Jamie Foxx as well as Brie Larson, this is shaping up to be a star studded flick. Just Mercy is set to release on January 17, 2020.
Captain Marvel Sequels: While we don't know for certain if Captain Marvel will get another solo movie, it's quite safe to assume she will. Earning over $1 billion, Captain Marvel is a good money maker for Disney, and let's not forget the 7 movie deal Brie Larson signed as Captain Marvel.
