5. Thanos Must Die

It's inevitable. Thanos simply cannot survive the mega battle that will be Infinity War - Part 2, because the long, seemingly endless story that has been his quest for the Infinity Stones simply has to end with the villain's demise. Yes, audiences are yet to encounter this villain in full capacity, but the span of two motion pictures should give Marvel enough time to develop the character, make him memorable, and then kill him off with a super painful death. Who should be the one to do it? Presumably Marvel will find a way to make sure that everybody gets to inflict a blow on the purple bastard before he goes the way of the dodo, though it's likely that the ultimate power of the Infinity Stones will be used against Thanos - a punishment, Indiana Jones style, for all the misery he's inflicted upon the universe. After this movie, of course, audiences will have lost all patience for Infinity Stone-based plotlines, which also means that...
