Avengers: Infinity War - Every Character Ranked By How Likely They Are To Die

13. Cull Obsidian

Black Dwarf
Marvel Comics

The character otherwise known as "Black Dwarf" in the comics is basically the Black Order's answer to the Hulk and should be a fairly big deal when he comes face-to-face with the Avengers in New York.

It seems that he'll be facing off with Iron Man, Wong, Doctor Strange and Spider-Man as he and Ebony Maw attack the Sanctum Sanctorum looking for the Time Stone (he could well be the battering ram distraction while Maw sneaks in). And though he's going to be a big deal, the simple fact is that Thanos won't have his Black Order when he ascends to even higher villainy in Avengers 4.

The Avengers also have to have some victories in the lead up to meeting Thanos directly, which would suggest that the Black Order are a little more expendable than they might seem. And a hulking warrior facing two magical heroes probably spells disaster for the baddy.

12. Man-Ape

Marvel Studios

Mbaku was a great presence in Black Panther, but rather unfortunately for him, his story isn't one that needs much mroe development in the inevitable sequel. And the fact that T'Challa will call on his rogue tribe to come to Wakanda's defence when Thanos' army invades could spell disaster for him.

SOMEONE recognisable has to die in the battle of Wakanda in order for it to live up to its billing. You don't have that sort of huge combat sequence without there being costs on both sides and simply leaving it to "red shirts" to die isn't going to be enough. That probably means that Mbaku should be looking over his shoulder a lot.
