7. Thanos' Iconic Finger Snap Is Teased

During Gamora's opening narration, she says one thing of actual substance that hints at one of the most iconic moments from the Infinity Gauntlet comic. She says, "If he gets all the Infinity Stones, he can [wipe out half the universe] with the snap of his fingers."

This is exactly what Thanos did, snapping his fingers and instantly wiping out half the universe. It was a shocking moment in the comics, and hinting at it here gives the Avengers a clear sense of urgency to take Thanos out.

Are fans merely being baited, though? It'd certainly be one hell of a cliffhanger if Infinity War ends with Thanos clicking his fingers, as the screen cuts to black and everyone's left in limbo for an entire year.

Marvel Studios loves to defy expectations with this sort of thing so it could be a red herring, but it may also be too delicious an opportunity to pass up.
