6. Avengers In Peril

It's a frequent complaint about the MCU that the stakes don't feel palpable enough and the superheroes never feel like they're in much danger.

It looks like this just might be set to change with Infinity War, as the trailer features numerous sequences where the Avengers are basically getting the snot beat out of them: we see Thor's (Chris Hemsworth) head being squeezed by Thanos, Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) being painfully tortured by one of Thanos' children, Ebony Maw, and Thanos barely breaking a sweat as he hovers his hand over Cap's face, who is most certainly breaking a sweat trying to hold him at bay.

That's in addition to the previous trailer showing Iron Man getting straight-up knocked out by Thanos' fist and Vision (Paul Bettany) seemingly getting the Mind Stone ripped from his head.

It'd be an atrocious cop-out if not a single major Avenger died in this movie, and the marketing seems to be hard-selling the fact that there are going to be some serious casualties before it's all said and done.
