Batman: Every Main Live-Action Movie Suit Ranked
5. Batman Returns (1992)
The second suit Michael Keaton's Batman wore took practically everything great about the first one and built upon it.
A few slight changes were made to the overall appearance of the suit. The armor had a classic plating look to it now, but the menacing silhouette was largely the same. Another small change was that of the Bat symbol on the chest, which was edited to have a sleeker look, although it was still quite bright. The utility belt was still present, complete with a signal jammer, zip-line grapple, Super-Batarang, and more. Bruce also remained more or less bullet proof in this new suit.
One of the better additions was that the Dark Knight could now glide thanks to modified wings. The suit's mobility appears to have been slightly improved, but Bats still couldn't turn his neck much. Almost everything about the suit is great, and none of the changes were needless. This is likely why Keaton's suit in Batman Returns is so iconic, even to this day.
